Bike Ride in Lenexa Parks
Sunday riding in the Black Hoof Park, Lake Lenexa and Shawnee Mission Park. Quite an exiting ride.
The Strand
Beautiful place. A gallery in Sydney, but not just any gallery. No big commerces, just artisans, and craft people who can do really great things.
The Beach II
Everyone should be able to go to the beach sometime during their live. Should be a human right.:P
Golden Fields in New Zealand
In the One Tree Hill, Auckland, one cold summer day, with friends doing some sightseeing.
Waihi Gold Mine
An old gold and silver mine in Waihi, New Zealand. When the resources are depleted, the company is going to fill the hole with water and create a recreational area to sustain the village.
Waiheke Island
Waiheke Island, really close to Auckland, you get there in a ferry, after an hour ride. It is a great place for some quiet vacations, and the chance to get to know all the Winyards that are on the island. Of course the beaches are great also. There is one thing I found really curious there. They dont have water, from a company like you find in any average city or settlement, the have to collect rainwater in tanks, to consume. Otherwise, water is carried from the land. Pretty interesting detail on the place.
The beach
This picture I like a lot, actually it has been my desktop for some time now. It is a beach in the southern part of Auckland, Mission Beach they said. It is right in front of the Rangitoto Island, which was a volcano, which is also a huge park. Anyway, this picture brings me back all those feelings when you step barefoot in the cold sand, on a day like that was. Peace and tranquility, to share with you.
Subway Station
The Town Hall subway Station in Sydney. Where many lines converge to go anywhere you want in Sydney and surroundings. In this case, we were there at 5 am on a saturday, on our way to Cronulla beach, to start a two day trekking through out the coast for 20 km, to arrive to the town of Otford, where we headed back to sydney by train.
The old Melbourne Gaol
In the beautiful city of Melbourne, you can find the old city Gaol, where many executions took place during the 19th century and where the famous bushranger Ned Kelly was hanged. It is a really interesting contrast when you are in such a dark building in the middle of such nice city. Really worth a visit.
